Shipping policy

The first collection is sold on pre-order and ships within Australia. This page explains when your order ships and how delivery works.

1. DISPATCH

Orders are paid in full at checkout, ahead of production. First orders from the first weaving ship 8 to 12 December 2026, in limited numbers. Each product page shows its current dispatch date, and the date shown when you order is the one that applies to it. This window is our estimate, made in good faith from production and freight planning, and is not a guaranteed delivery date. If it changes materially, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are set out in our Terms of Service and Refund and Returns Policy. We write to you before dispatch, and again once your order is on its way.

2. WHERE WE SHIP

We ship from Sydney to addresses within Australia.

3. TRACKING

Every order travels with a tracked service. The tracking number is sent to your email as soon as the order is handed to the carrier.

4. RATES

Rates are shown at checkout, in Australian dollars, including GST.

• Standard: A$19. Members of our email list ship complimentary on orders over A$350, using the email they joined with at checkout.
• Express: A$25 on orders under A$350, A$49 from A$350 and A$79 from A$700.

5. ADDRESS CHANGES

You may change your delivery address at any time before dispatch by writing to service@shopvelvet.co with your order number. Once an order has left us it cannot be redirected, and we cannot guarantee changes made directly with the carrier.

6. LOST OR DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If your order is lost or arrives damaged, write to service@shopvelvet.co with your order number, and photographs in the case of damage, within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. We work with the carrier to locate the order and arrange a replacement or refund if it cannot be recovered. This sits alongside, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
